RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt Resolution No. 3868 declaring Friday, May 6, 2022, as School Lunch Hero Day in Clovis Unified School District to acknowledge and express support for Campus Catering employees.
DISCUSSION:

Between preparing healthy meals for Clovis Unified students, adhering to strict nutrition standards, navigating student food allergies, and offering service with a smile, school nutrition professionals are true heroes. 

 

Pending the Board's approval, on Friday, May 6, 2022, Clovis Unified will celebrate the 10th Annual School Lunch Hero Day! School Lunch Hero Day is a chance to showcase the difference school nutrition professionals make for every child who comes through the cafeteria. 

 

District Administration recommends that Clovis Unified acknowledges all Campus Catering employees through a declaration of Friday, May 6, 2022, as School Lunch Hero Day.
