| | | | | | | | | RECOMMENDATION: | | Adopt Resolution No. 3749 declaring Friday, May 1, 2020, as School Lunch Hero Day in Clovis Unified School District to acknowledge and express support for Campus Catering employees. |

| | | | | | | | | DISCUSSION: | Beginning in 2013, National School Lunch Hero Day was designated by the School Nutrition Association and Jarrett J. Krosoczka, author of the “Lunch Lady” graphic novel series. School Lunch Hero Day officially kicks off School Nutrition Employee Week and provides an opportunity for parents, students, school staff and communities to thank those who provide healthy meals to 30 million of America’s students each school day.
District Administration recommends that Clovis Unified acknowledges all Campus Catering employees through a declaration of Friday, May 1, 2020, as School Lunch Hero Day. |
