| | | | | | | | | RECOMMENDATION: | | Authorize the Superintendent or designee to accept an award of $1,717,650, from the California Department of Education (CDE) for the California Career Technical Education Incentive Grant (CTEIG) program, as submitted. |

| | | | | | | | | DISCUSSION: | | The California Career Technical Education Incentive Grant program is established as a State education, economic and workforce development initiative with the goal of providing pupils in kindergarten through grade 12, inclusive, with the knowledge and skills necessary to transition to employment and post-secondary education. The purpose of this program is to expand as well as maintain the delivery of Career Technical Education (CTE) programs. |
